Hayley Jackson is a Brisbane based special education teacher and an avid reader and writer of YA fiction. Largely influenced by an adolescence spent hanging out in the dark and twisty King and Koontz world, her books cross a range of genres - urban fantasy, horror, paranormal ghostie, historical fiction and sci-fi. Being a teacher, Hayley enjoys inspiring children to create their own masterpieces and loves to see their eyes light up when the creative spark hits. She is an active member of Write Links Children's Writers Group.
