Ways to look after your inner writer
When it comes to navigating a career in the creative arts, Crystal Corocher has stumbled along the yellow brick road in several directions since starting her first creative business at the delightfully naive age of 17.
She’s pivoted at least as many times as a writer as she ever did in ballet shoes and after twenty odd years of following passions (some might suggest shirking stability in all its forms), she continues to find outlets to be creative - and has a few tips to share on how to stick at it!
In this presentation, we’re going to talk about ‘Imposter Syndrome’, what it is, why it’s contagious and if it’s time to put it in the bin (?). We’ll cover those ‘writing-from-the-bottom-of-the-well’ feelings, how to handle the knocks, and what to do when everything feels like it's moving too slowly!
Have your cuppa and some chocolate ready.
