Sarah McKenzie Literary Management is a Melbourne/Naarm-based literary agency that represents new, emerging and established authors of literary and commercial fiction, narrative nonfiction, middle grade, junior fiction and picture books. We actively pursue diverse and marginalised voices.
Sarah has represented and championed books that have won or been nominated for awards including the Australian Book Industry Awards, Ned Kelly Awards, Indie Book Awards, NSW Premiers’ Literary Awards, CWA Dagger Award, Miles Franklin Award and CBCA Awards.
Clients include best-selling children's author Scott Stuart, internationally-award-winning crime writer Shelley Burr and some of the country's most exciting emerging authors.
Sarah is interested in literary and commercial fiction (including crime, thrillers, romance and upmarket commercial), middle grade, junior fiction and picture books. Actively pursuing diverse and marginalised voices. She is not currently looking for YA, sci-fi or memoir (unless the author has an established public profile).

If you’d like to set up a payment plan, just send us a quick email at info@cyaconference.com to receive your code before booking. A 15% non-refundable deposit is required upfront for payment plans, with full payment due before your session.
Please note that each attendee can have only one payment plan.

Sarah will be providing verbal feedback with her assessments.

Assessment sessions:
- are only available to conference attendees.
- may be booked before booking for the conference, but you must book for the conference by 15 May, or your session will be cancelled and not refunded.
- have a $25.00 administration charge should you decide to cancel before 15 May.
- are non-refundable if cancelled after 15 May unless we are able to resell the session.
