Sarah has more than 18 years of experience sitting on both sides of the publishing and writing table. She has worked as a Commissioning Editor, Consulting Publisher and Managing Editor and has been employed as a freelance editor and writer on print, online and multimedia projects. Sarah has also published a nonfiction book and has written for most of the major Australian print and online news media, including The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, Herald Sun and the ABC.
Sarah is looking for literary and commercial fiction, especially thrillers with a compelling voice. Memoir and narrative nonfiction that is fresh and provides a unique perspective. Picture books, junior fiction and middle grade that balance humour and heart.
They are not currently looking at speculative fiction (including fantasy, sci-fi & dystopian).
